I’m starting this blog to introduce beginners to American Art History and to serve as my personal journal for exploring the field. This came about because I began watching Ken Burns’ The American Revolution on PBS and realized I want to learn more about early American art. I also want to start painting again, and I hope my research will inspire my own practice. If I feel bold, I might share some of my new work here. I’m not a writer or an art historian, so bear with me.
